Richard Meena Jr.

Do I need an attorney?

Regardless of the type of case, it is always advisable to seek an initial consultation with an attorney. Mr. Meena does not charge for an initial consultation and can determine if your situation is one where legal representation would be beneficial. Mr. Meena is familiar with both civil and criminal legal matters and can guide you to help make an informed decision.

Will Mr. Meena represent me personally?

Yes. Unlike many law offices, especially those that advertise on television, Mr. Meena will personally represent you as your attorney. He will not pass your case off to an associate or paralegal. Rather you will get the knowledge, experience and personal attention all his clients receive.

What are my rights in a criminal case?

The most important initial right you have is to remain silent. Remember that what you say to the authorities can and will be used against you in a court of law. So exercise your right to remain silent and wait to speak to your attorney. Other rights include the right to a trial by jury, to present witnesses on your behalf and cross-examine the government’s witnesses, and to file an appeal. Attorney Richard Meena has decades of experience in this area and can help protect your rights to ensure your fair treatment in a court of law.

If I am injured in an accident should I talk to the other person’s insurance company?

Never speak to an opposing insurance adjuster until you have sought the advice of an attorney. Adjusters for the other party do not have your best interests at heart and will often try to get you to enter into an early settlement for a fraction of the true value of your case. Learn your rights so you can make the best decisions for you and your family. Don’t make the mistake of signing a release with an insurance company. Your case may be significantly damaged by doing so.

Will Mr. Meena go to court with me if the case needs to be litigated?

Yes. Whether it is a criminal, personal injury, general or business litigation case, Richard Meena, Jr. will personally protect your interests at every stage of the case. Many attorneys settle their cases prematurely as they are not equipped to go to court to fight for their clients. Mr. Meena has litigated cases since 1988 and has the skill and knowledge to assist you in successfully navigating the court system every step of the way.
